Application of quick couplings for automobiles, agricultural machinery, tractors, construction equipment

Spring coupling ENSURE A FAST AND SECURE CONNECTION through an «all or nothing» state (no intermediate state). The auditory «click» informs you if the connection was successful. The springs are tested at 100% during the assembly process.
watertight fitting assembly Ensure the fluid passes without leaking (QUICK CONNECTORS ARE 100% LEAK TESTED% during the assembly process)
Assembly fitting quality Ensure COMPLETE TRACEABILITY from raw materials to the finished product. All quick-release couplings are etched during the assembly process
Applications

ARaymond hydraulic quick connectors are used for automobiles as well as agricultural machinery and construction equipment:

  • Hydraulic circuits (power steering, braking)
  • Fuel line (liquid and vapour)
  • Injection return
  • Urea / SCR System
  • HVAC thermal solution
  • Cooling system
  • Air conditioning system
  • Braking system

The advantages of quick-release fittings

Quick connectors for fluids Improve the quality of connections (rubber tube with collars)
Quick connectors for fluids Make maintenance easier No tools to disconnect the fitting
Quick connectors for fluids Improve assembly ergonomics on the line Reduction of insertion efforts
Hydraulic couplings for tractors Help to meet environmental standards (weight gain, permeation…)
Quick connectors for fluids Increase productivity (Reduction in assembly time)

Quick connectors for fluids Integration of functions (valves, regulator, sensor...) Weight gain

Why use 2 joints?

A Quick Connector for liquid fuel is a safety component (risk of fire and explosion in case of leakage). A second seal is necessary for increased safety.
  • The second seal protects the fluid-contacting seal from environmental aggressions (oil, acid, dust, paint, etc.)
  • The combination of the two seals ensures sealing at -40°C (SAE J2044 standards).

- A simple FPM (fluorocarbon) seal cannot seal at -40°C. At low temperatures, the FPM seal loses flexibility and does not fully perform its sealing function.
A FVMQ (fluoro-silicone) joint with good flexibility at low temperatures is therefore necessary to keep the junction sealed.

Automotive fluid connectors

The combination of an FPM seal and an FVMQ seal is the ONLY WAY to ensure LOW TEMPERATURE SEALING and thus comply with SAE J2044.
