Control valve

The valve, guided by bearings, controls the water flow to the turbine. In the long term, the bearings must be protected from water ingress. The MANOY® WP type 428 system has been developed for this purpose.

For applications in contact with particularly dirty water or to extend service life between maintenance operations, the MANOY® WP type 487 system incorporates an open-groove scraper element.

The profiles of these two types of seal can be adapted to existing grooves. For external sealing, types 423 and 482 should be chosen.
