MANOY® Shaft Seal For all food industry cleaning processes

For shaft sealing, the use of a lip seal of profile 205 or a shaft seal of profile 238, preloaded by an O-ring, is recommended. The external sealing ring of profile 233 is used in certain special cases.

The design of the seals, the definition of the housing, and particularly the fillet radii offer the best conditions for SIP / CIP cleaning. As the seal must be removed for cleaning (WOP), open grooves are recommended.

For functional reasons, shaft seals with a pre-tensioning element are supplied with radial notches.

• Low and medium pressure and low rotational speed application
• No adhesion on the opposite surface in case of prolonged stoppage
• From Ø 6 mm to 1,000 mm
