- To fix an item to a panel using a metric thread screw (plus a washer if necessary). - Manual insertion by pressing into a square/rectangular/oblong hole. - The nut is held in its housing by expansion when the screw is tightened. - Push-in nuts are particularly suitable for blind fixing to panels. - The nut does not rotate in its housing when the screw is tightened.
