Moving ring

The movable rings are used for closure at the end of the penstock upstream of the turbine. They must stop the high-pressure water flow.

The movable ring is operated by hydraulic cylinders.

For sealing the rotating rings, IDG has developed the MANOY® WP 434 system for external sealing and the MANOY® WP 439 system for internal sealing.

For revisions, the dimensions can be adapted to existing groove dimensions.
