IDG subjects The IDG materials for seals, guide elements and wipers are essentially polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bases. A number of other high-performance composite materials complement the range of PTFE bases.
The materials developed by IDG are particularly suited for the manufacture of high-performance sealing elements.
The characteristics of PTFE-based composites are recognised and validated by precise and sought-after compositions.
For applications in the food industry, drinking water, chemical industries, and for applications in extreme temperature ranges, IDG has developed specific blends.
MANOY® materials are constantly evolving to meet technical advancements.
Anti-friction coating MANOY COAT® ManoyCoat® offers innovative anti-friction coatings which, by reducing friction and adhesion, facilitate manual assembly and especially automated assembly.
The use of coated O-rings for low-stress dynamic applications limits premature wear by reducing friction. The stick-slip effect is minimised.
ManoyCoat® coatings can be adapted for food industry applications or applications free from substances that hinder the adhesion of glues or varnishes.
Other applications may be the subject of specific studies.
Elastomers These materials are used primarily for the production of O-rings or moulded parts.
Depending on the intended use (pre-stressing element or sealing) and the specific operating conditions, IDG's elastomer seals are produced in accordance with DIN ISO 1629.
