PRODUCT FOCUS

Supports for lockable and re-openable tubes for efficient assembly and maintenance

Tube clips or cable clamps are highly versatile when it comes to mounting a wide range of cable harnesses of different diameters. ARaymond cable clamps are an efficient alternative with a self-locking design, which is easy to open and close, and facilitates assembly and maintenance or replacement of parts during the product's lifespan. Plastic cable clamps can be mounted on panel edges, or in holes or on posts.

Assembly of electrical cabinet panels

Panel edge nuts are the preferred alternative to metal screws for faster and more cost-effective panel assembly. They are easy to install without special tools and can be used in place of rivet nuts and weld nuts to quickly and easily fasten mating panels. Once inserted into the hole, the retaining tongue on these edge nuts holds the part firmly in place, facilitating pre-assembly. Metal panel clips and ARaymond cage nuts fit over a panel edge or hole and can be used to fasten multiple metal panels. By eliminating time-consuming assembly operations such as screwing, manufacturers can achieve savings without compromising performance.

Earthing of electrical equipment

According to IEC standards, consumer electrical appliances must be earthed. This means connecting the metal chassis to an earth wire. In the event of an electrical fault causing a live wire to come into contact with metal parts, the current will flow through the earth wire and trip the circuit breaker.

Earth clips

ARaymond™ grounding clips are mounted onto a panel edge, ensuring conductivity between metal panels and electrical wiring via connection lugs. The internal claws penetrate the panel surface (e.g., paint) to ensure conductivity.

Stud clips

We also offer tree retainers to lock uprights onto panels or any other flat-surfaced part. The clips must be pushed onto the stud from above for mounting; electrical conductivity is ensured by a spade connector.
